Visit 24nd House

Well, the end of the road came.  I was checked out at Baptist Heart Hospital in
Jacksonville for the infection in my leg.  I was immediately admitted and was on multiple
antibiotics for 6 days.  Surgery was required to remove the abscess from my leg in order
for the antibiotics to work.  With any luck, I'll be able to run again in a few weeks.  A lot
depends on how the wound and the infection reacts to treatment.

I contracted a staph infection know as ORSA.  How I got it is a mystery, but finishing the
run is not an option.  At least I made it to Florida and can say that I literally ran from Maine
to Florida.
